Our First Competition

Well the first half of the year was very busy for the Monkey Gumboots team. It was our first first-half of a year and we loved every minute of it. Our birthday shoots were heaps fun, it’s been great to meet some beautiful families but perhaps the most popular of all has been our Fundraising shoots.
Overall our Fundraisers have generated over $2000 for the various Lady Gowrie centres we have been to;(with the biggest centres yet to come). Thankyou to all the staff and Children at Lady Gowrie for making our time at your centres so much fun.
Anyway, below are some photos of a few kids who were eligible to enter our first contest. Please feel free to vote for your favourite at the poll at the right hand side of the page. Do us a favour and only vote once yourself but feel free to ‘encourage’ your friends to place a vote too. The winner will receive a free 14 x 20” canvas of their photo.

Back from Holidays

Well, we're back.
We had a great time in SA and plan to return later in the year to share the goodness that is monkeygumboots. Well... we think i might be cool to have a working holiday and another excuse to see the grandparents. Anyway...

We spent heaps of time catching up with family, went to two weddings, slept-in a few times and of course had the odd photo-shoot.

Holidays

Well, we've just completed a stack of fundraising jobs in childcare centres around Hobart and It's time for a break. We are now all on Holidays and loving it

Please don't be upset it we don't get back to you with answers to your queries. We will respond as soon as we get back which is around the 10th of June.

Autumn at the gardens

Who said it was too cold to go outside??
Last weekend the Norris family and I went to the Botanical Gardens to seek out some beautiful backdrops full of Autumn colors. With picnic rug in one hand and the camera in the other we went for a crusie lap around the grounds until we finally found the ducks.
That wasn't enough though, the girls wanted more, so we took a short drive across the bridge to Bellerive beach where we finished up our photo-shoot.
We all had a ball and didn't even get too wet.

Ally-Bree's Birthday

Risdon Brook Reservoir was the location of choice for Ally-Bree and her family to celebrate her first birthday. And what a beautiful spot it is. The weather was perfect for friends and family to hang out together with a few drinks and a barbie. All-in-all, it was perfect.
